PREREQUISITES

• This is an advanced level course. Therefore, previous experience of spirituality and personal growth workshops is required.

• Participants are required to have a daily practice of mindfulness of self-reflection in preparation for this time and following this time.

• All participants will need to have completed the POWER: Energy Merging course (online or in person) (individual or in group) prior to joining this course.
  
  This is to ensure that everyone has a similar level of mastery of subtle energies.

Our home will be Nassimah lodge.
Located in the region of Abusir, the original capital of Egypt, just 40 minutes south of Cairo along the Nile, the retreat center is built in traditional bedouin architecture style. 


Its highlight is the workshop space which is a large clay sound dome purposely designed to amplify and transmit frequencies.

The house also boasts a beautiful garden with mango trees, a fire pit, a small pool.

The food will be traditional exquisite Egyptian cuisine cooked from local ingredients.

As this retreat will be held in the Middle East, it is normal to be concerned about safety.

Q- IS EGYPT SAFE?
✔ I have visited the country many times and have never felt unsafe.
In fact, I have felt safer and safer as the years have gone by.
Safety has been greatly increased at tourists sites, nevertheless, it is important to be cautious.

Q- WHAT HAPPENS IF CURRENT TENSIONS BETWEEN ISRAEL AND PALESTINE REACH EGYPT?
✔ Egypt and Israel have a long standing peace treaty. There is little to know chance of violence reaching Egypt.
In the unlikely care that violence were to escalate and begin to involve Egypt in a way that was threatening, the course would be canceled or postponed and all payments would be refunded

Q- WHAT IF THE COURSE ISN'T CANCELED BUT I STILL FEEL TOO UNSAFE TO TRAVEL

✔ In this case, we will need to have a conversation about what changes have happened since the time of booking your space to make you now feel unsafe.
If there are indeed substantial changes which cause a security threat, we can discuss a cancelation with refund.

Q- IF I AM GAY, ARE THERE THREATS OF HOMOPHOBIC ATTACKS?

✔ Homosexuality is legal in Egypt, however it is not always publicly accepted.

Note that we will be staying in a very private house isolated in the desert and will only leave the house for excursions at high-security tourist-friendly sites, during which will be accompanied by a driver and tour guide.

In my many visits in Egypt, I have never experienced any direct homophobia.

However, I will ask all participants to be discreet when in public as public displays of affection are note well received, whether gay or straight.

Q- IS IT SAFE TO PRACTICE AN ALTERNATIVE SPIRITUAL PRACTICE IN AN ISLAMIC COUNTRY?

✔Our tours will be organised by a local woman who is very connected to the mystery school and is not bound by rigid islamic rules.

I will continue to do my best to keep the group safe during our time together.

Safety before and after the course is each participant's responsibility.
