To begin, and this has happened so often to me before, I came to the workshop not expecting much. I have journeyed Shamanically before, in Tantra and in Ayahuasca, but I didn’t expect much as I was alone in my own house under lockdown, etc.
Nothing happened in the first exercise, felt nothing of the nostrils, couldn’t get the singing right, ‘waste of time’, I nearly left.
Totally different in the main practice. Almost immediately I connected with the sound, even more so my body, moving and so on.
A few days ago, in a meditation on the app, I had an odd ‘vision’ of a softly coloured and fluctuating cuboid space, beautiful but a bit scary as this was impermanence, specifically my impermanence.
Tonight that ‘cuboid space’ reappeared, so to speak - but now my body began to move into it, fluctuate with it, become it. I should add it had a slight similarity to ayahuasca visions. And, as I mentioned in the feedback, the icaro (a whistled sacred song) the Ayahuasquiro/shaman had given me in one very deep ceremony returned - I’d not been able to recall it for months.
Briefly it seemed I might go under ground (which happened in a totally unplanned experience at a Faerie Gathering), but not long.
The sounds were energetic (the djzz sound often stronger) and maybe that accounted for when I followed the suggestion to bring in genital energy, as my hand neared my cock I realised it was way too strong to actually touch, or rather it was like I felt an energy ball there - I only needed to hover my hand near my genitals, reiki-style.
As always, a lot more that can’t be put into words, and maybe shouldn’t be. But thank you thank you thank you. I’ve posted right now to help crystallise some things from this, so thank you - but also for anyone very new to this. It might sound odd that I went from not getting it at all and thinking of leaving to something very very strong. That has happened to me before.
My point here is that I have found, even when you have ‘done’ a practice before and ‘know it’, there is always more. And I wonder if the times I go into something not expecting much, that is kind of like ‘beginner’s mind’. Beginner’s mind is a precious state, because it means you have no expectations. Which can be when things really happen.
So to the many ‘beginners’ new to Tantra, great - you are in perfect place to gain so much!!!
