Begin with meditation
How do we begin to select colours for our home depending on these systems?
It’s always a good idea to start with a meditation to clear your thinking mind and try to connect to your core being.
Begin by sitting in meditation for just a few minutes.
Starting by sitting comfortably, closing your eyes and connecting to your breath. Next, being your attention to that part of your body which is being supported by the ground or the chair.
Using sound instruments, healing sound tracks or focusing on a crystal, sit in focused meditation for 9-12 minutes.
After this is done, open your eyes and begin reflecting on the colour choice for your home.
You may have already determined with the help of previous articles what the priorities are for your home.
If you have, take a minute to rekindle a connection to them.
Otherwise simply begin to reflect on what changes you would like to see in your life.
Do you mainly want to be supported on your spiritual path? would you like to finally unlock those nagging money issues? Looking to find your purpose and life career path?
Choose 1-3 areas of your life, look up the areas relating to these in your bagua map, above, have a look at the recommended colours for these areas and it will be easy to start creating the right colour board for you.
Remember, continue to check in with your intuition and make your decision slowly and mindfully.
That being said, sometimes you may be spending loads of time planning and the right colour will unexpectedly fall into your lap.
I remember one time I was spending weeks choosing the right colours, and one of them had backfired really badly once the room was painted. I ran to the paint shop, asked for the colour chart, and my finger happened to fall on a shade I would have never considered. Every cm of my being said that was the one. I didn't even buy the tester pot, just bought the paint and was on my way.
Choosing it that intuitively t was the best decision of that whole project.
As you know by now, the only rule is THERE ARE NO RULES.
So, let go and enjoy the process!
